To strengthen the evidence based integrated strategies for development, implementation and evaluation of prevention and control of respiratory diseases.
   

  Our Goals
 

The main objectives of the IndiaNetRed is to facilitate intra-group and inter-institutional communication and collaboration to enhance capacity for surveillance and research in respiratory diseases, to appropriately utilize the information available from different centers and to develop evidence-based policies for prevention and control of respiratory diseases. The Network will be expanded to a South East Asia Respiratory Disease Network to connect with the other countries of the South East Asia Region and also to link with global networks in due course of time.

Both asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are problems faced by general physicians working at the primary health institutions including those in general practice, before being seen by the specialists at secondary and tertiary levels of health care.Most of these patient especially those living in smaller towns and villages, continue to report to their primary care physicians for follow up management.
